Pertemps are recruiting on their behalf for a CAD Engineer for their operations in the Worcester area.
Salary - Up to £35k
The role is on Days - Monday to Friday
Main Goal
1. To design tooling for casting and wax modelling.
Main Responsibilities
2. Produce designs using Unigraphics /Siemens NC CAD software
3. Produce detailed models for manufacturing purpose
4. Produce technical drawings
5. Liaise with CNC Programmers and Toolmakers
6. Attend design development meetings
7. Liaise with customers on technical and design issues
8. Creation of BOM's and parts lists for ordering parts and materials
9. Work with management to implement the companies policies and business objectives
10. Carry out any other duties when required
Skills and experience required
11. Familiar with CAD software (preferably Unigraphics / Siemens NC)
12. Familiar with CNC manufacturing processes
13. Familiar with injection moulding processes
14. Close attention to detail and able to work under own initiative
15. Ideally hold an engineering qualification such as HNC/HND or a degree - this is not essential however.
