Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Junior Core Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide high‑quality care across a range of obstetric and gynaecological services, including antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, emergency gynaecology, and outpatient care. This role offers excellent opportunities to develop clinical skills, gain experience in both obstetrics and gynaecology, and work closely with senior medical staff in a supportive training environment.
Responsibilities
* Assist in the day‑to‑day running of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Unit, including covering the gynae and maternity wards, gynecology emergency patients in ED, labour ward triage and assisting at caesarean sections.
* Participate in the first on call rota for Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
* Assist in the training of FY2 doctors.

Qualifications
Essential criteria
* Full GMC registration.
* MBBS/MBChB or equivalent.
Desirable criteria
* MRCOG Part 1.
Clinical Experience
Essential criteria
* Completion of Foundation Programme competencies or equivalent.
* Clinical training and experience equivalent to at least FY2 level.
Desirable criteria
* Ability to teach clinical skills.
Skills
Essential criteria
* Experience of audit.
Desirable criteria
* Experience of working in NHS.
