What Will My Key Responsibilities Be? Set up filler in a timely and accurate manner and vigilantly monitor machine operation for signs of impending problems, addressing any problems promptly to minimise downtime Contribute towards achieving and maintaining a harmonious working environment by working in a cooperative manner, defusing conflict situations and providing support to work colleagues on your line as needed. Adapt to change in a positive and professional manner. Identify strengths and weaknesses in your team. Optimise on strengths and build upon weaknesses and assist in developing / delivering training needs. Recognise what needs to be done in order to achieve the plan and hold yourself and others on your line to account for delivering results. Perform duties to the highest standard adhering to standard operating procedures in a safe and efficient manner to maximise production and achieve targets. Promote accident prevention on your line by adhering to all safety guidelines and standards, ensuring that the correct PPE is being worn at all times and encourage active participation in all required training. Carry out quality checks in accordance with laid down procedures. Actively investigate faults ensuring root cause is determined and follow up on actions to sustain improvements. In the event of routine/standard breakdowns, address and repair any problems promptly to minimise downtime. In the case of non-standard faults escalate to shift lead. Responsible for maintaining documentation associated with operations and ensure that all monitoring systems required by the Company are completed accurately to ensure that filling conditions are checked in accordance with laid down quality procedures. Responsible for ensuring that all machinery and the immediate area around the machinery on your line is maintained to the highest standards of housekeeping and hygiene, in line with regulatory, company and customer requirements. Conduct basic routine maintenance of your machine and ensure that procedures are followed accurately and that all necessary paperwork is completed. Perform changeovers and CIPs within agreed targets. Electrical / Mechanical HNC / HND or equivalent / time served trade (at least 2 years) Previous experience repairing mechanical breakdowns (at least 2 years) Ability to complete basic maintenance and replacement of mechanical parts Ability to set up and adjust key line side equipment ensuring the highest standards of quality or equivalent Experience in an operational role within a high- speed manufacturing industry Previous experience working towards regulatory and customer standards Evidence of effective organisational, planning and time management skills with a proven track record of success in meeting challenging deadlines Excellent communication skills, both basic verbal and written English People management experience Problem solving skills No unsolicited cvs from agencies please Skills: Communication Teamwork Mechanical Maintenance REGULATORY Team Leadership
