The role of the Local SEO Executive is to leverage the Google local search landscape and to lead activities related to Google products like Google My Business (GMB) and Local Services Ads (LSA). In addition, the role will audit, monitor, and implement Technical Local Paid Search & SEO.
Key Tasks:
1. Support the Search Marketing team across SEO, Data & Insight, Paid Search, and Content to deliver priority Organic Search projects globally for Rentokil Initial and its subsidiaries.
2. Assist the Digital Projects & Deployment team with the rollout of digital projects such as website launches, competitor analysis, campaign optimization, and social media initiatives.
3. Develop SEO management processes, best practices, and guides to support colleagues across markets. Act as a reliable SEO contact for BAU issues and assist in troubleshooting and strategy development.
4. Collaborate with teams and vendors to implement Rentokil Initial's Digital Search Strategy.
5. Manage both organic and paid search channels to leverage search volumes and drive conversions.
Requirements:
* Strong knowledge of Local SEO, analysis, reporting, on-page strategies, and social media benefits for organic visibility. Experience with Google Business profile and SEO audits is essential.
* Understanding of SEO best practices, technical SEO considerations, and the organic local search ecosystem.
* Knowledge of search engine algorithms and their impact on website performance.
* Experience with technical SEO changes such as robots.txt, redirects, hreflang, canonical tags, and schema markup.
* Proficiency with SEO tools like SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and backlink auditors such as Ahrefs or Kerboo for web audits.
