Interv_l have been retained on a confidential search for an exciting EV & Grid Connections client.
Our client is a rapidly scaling infrastructure business operating at the intersection of EV charging, grid connection and large-scale energy delivery. Backed by significant investment and entering a critical phase of national expansion, the business is now looking to appoint a senior operational leader to help scale delivery capability across the UK.
Due to the strategic nature of the appointment, the company is being kept confidential at this stage of the process.
The Opportunity
This role will sit at the heart of the organisation’s delivery engine, responsible for building operational capability, improving delivery performance and scaling infrastructure programmes nationally.
You will work closely with the executive team to ensure projects are delivered safely, commercially and at pace across a growing portfolio of EV charging and grid-connected infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead national delivery of EV charging and electrical infrastructure programmes
* Build and scale operational teams across project management, delivery and engineering
* Drive improvements in programme delivery, supply chain performance and project governance
* Manage large-scale infrastructure deployment across multi-site national rollouts
* Collaborate with development, commercial and technical teams to ensure projects are designed for delivery
* Oversee contractor performance across civils, electrical installation and grid connection works
* Implement processes and systems that enable scalable, repeatable infrastructure deployment
* Ensure operational delivery meets safety, regulatory and commercial targets
* Management of profit and loss
What We’re Looking For
We are particularly interested in speaking with senior leaders who have experience delivering infrastructure within:
* EV charging networks
* ICP / IDNO / electrical infrastructure
* Grid connections (LV / HV)
* Utilities or energy infrastructure
* Renewable or power distribution projects
Typical backgrounds might include:
* Head of Operations / Operations Director
* Head of Delivery / Programme Director
* Head of Civils / Construction Director
* Senior Infrastructure Delivery Leader
Experience managing multi-disciplinary delivery teams and large contractor networks will be essential.
