Role - Allocation Officer (Homelessness)
Location - GCHSCP, 2 Green Wynd, Glasgow, G40 2TD
Hours - 13.5 hrs working Thursday and Friday
Contract Status - Permanent

At Glasgow City Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP), we aim to prevent homelessness, provide emergency support and help individuals secure long term accommodation. An opportunity has arisen for an Allocation Officer to support the Temporary Accommodation Allocation Team within Homelessness Services.
Allocation Officers work in a small team co-ordinating and prioritising referrals for homeless accommodation. You will work with a variety of agencies and make decisions on all aspects of allocations using sound judgement.
Responsibilities
* Monitor all referrals and risk assessments
* Prepare management information on the supply and demand of temporary accommodation
* Ensure that allocations are made in a fair and consistent manner
* Work with colleagues to coordinate allocation decisions in accordance with legislation and guidance
Qualifications and requirements
* Working knowledge of the legislation and guidance of homelessness is desirable
* Aware of the complex needs of service users and have an appreciation of relevant legislation and the Code of Guidance
* Interviews will likely take place week commencing 6th October
