King Ecgbert School
King Ecgbert School is a highly successful school within Mercia Learning Trust, rated outstanding by Ofsted, with results consistently well above average. It serves a diverse community, providing outstanding education in a safe, positive environment.
The Role
We seek a skilled teacher of design technology, specializing in food preparation and nutrition, to teach at Key Stage 3 and 4. The role involves delivering exceptional lessons and fostering outstanding pupil progress. There may also be opportunities to teach PSHCE ('L@kes' curriculum). The position is 0.4FTE - 0.6FTE (negotiable), fixed until 31 August 2026. Applications from ECTs are welcomed.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and nutrition, a passion for teaching, and the ability to engage young people in design technology. A commitment to pupils' personal development and motivation to inspire high achievement are essential.
