Overview
ARNE is a rapidly growing UK-based Apparel and Footwear brand, built around minimalism and a philosophy of “Less Is More”. We design and develop products in the UK, manufacture in both the Near and Far East, and ship directly to customers via ARNEclo.com. We are expanding with Selfridges in-store and online and will open our first standalone retail store in August 2025. Over the next decade, we aim to grow internationally and strengthen the brand through new product categories, particularly in Footwear and Womenswear, as well as investment in Paid Media, CRM activity and continued creative development. Our HQ is a 36,000 sq ft, fully bespoke facility expected to serve us for at least 5–10 years.
About the team and role
We’re a small but ambitious Design Team looking to grow. We’re seeking talented designers at Designer or Senior Designer level, with experience in Men’s or Women’s design, who share our brand values. The role reports to the Head of Design & Buying and works closely with the Co-Founder. Responsibilities
* Support the creative direction and design aesthetic for all product ranges alongside the Head of Design & Buying and the Co-Founder.
* Continuously improve product quality and customer satisfaction, working with the Garment Tech & QC team.
* Develop new product ranges that align with the brand identity and market trends.
* Research and analyse current market trends to keep the brand relevant.
* Manage and develop current Junior team members.
* Collaborate with logistics and the wider product team to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
* Ensure effective communication and collaboration with the wider team and external manufacturers for efficient product delivery.
* Perform any other ad hoc duties as required.
What success looks like
* Bring creative ideas with a commercial mindset, balancing customer needs and market trends.
* Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and flex between projects or categories as needed.
What we are looking for
* Previous experience as a Senior Designer within Men’s or Women’s fashion.
* Ability to design across multiple product categories.
* Strong knowledge of garment construction, manufacturing techniques, and industry developments.
* Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
* Experience managing a team.
* In-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and/or other design software.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work collaboratively with others.
