Accounts Payable Assistant / Supplier Query Resolution/ Procurement/ Company Bonus/ Hybrid Working/ Excellent Benefits Forge Talent have partnered with a well established yet continually evolving business who. as a result of ongoing success, require additional support within their Accounts Payable Team. Working as part of a large payables team, you will be responsible for managing supplier, Purchase Order, Procurement and invoice queries with a focus on ensuring an efficient supplier payment cycle. This is an ideal opportunity for somebody with established Accounts Payable and/ or query resolution experience who is looking to develop their skillset within a fast paced and high-performance environment. Accounts Payable Administrator Key Responsibilities: Proactively working to resolve supplier queries related to purchase orders and accounts payable invoices. Investigating discrepancies and ensuring timely and accurate resolutions. Collaborating with internal teams and external suppliers to build and maintain strong working relationships. Completing supplier statement reconciliations and requesting copy invoices as required. Supporting the development of new platforms and ways of working. Driving continual improvements in query handling and operational performance. Ensuring compliance with the company policies, service level agreements and financial procedures. Supporting projects to enhance efficiencies within the department, as required. Supporting the wider payables team with ad hoc manual processing as required. Accounts Payable Administrator Required Experience: Previous experience of working in a finance or accounting capacity, with an understanding of Accounts Payable and Procurement principles. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and take appropriate action. A right first time approach to the resolution of queries. A proactive, motivated and positive approach to the role and attached responsibilities. Confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The ability to proactively work towards deadlines in a time sensitive environment. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks inline with business demands. A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a friendly team.
