Cleaning Operative (Construction Site) | Birmingham City Centre
Are you an early bird looking for a steady, long-term routine? We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a major project in the heart of Birmingham City Centre.
This isn't your standard office clean-because this is a live site environment, we need someone who is safety-conscious and ready to keep our facilities in top shape.
The Role
* Location: Birmingham City Centre (B1 postcode area).
* Hours: 2 hours per day (10 hours per week).
* Shift: Monday - Friday, 07:00 AM - 09:00 AM.
* Duration: Long-term temporary contract.
* Pay: Competitive hourly rate (paid weekly).
Key Responsibilities
* Maintaining site offices, meeting rooms, and communal canteen areas.
* Sanitizing high-touch points and cleaning welfare facilities (toilets/changing rooms).
* Emptying bins and ensuring waste is disposed of correctly.
* Ensuring all cleaning chemicals are stored safely according to COSHH guidelines.
Requirements
* Active CSCS Card (Required): You must hold a valid CSCS card to be allowed on-site.
* Punctuality: As this is a 7:00 AM start, reliability is non-negotiable.
* Experience: Previous experience in construction site cleaning or industrial cleaning is preferred.
* Location: Ideally based in or near the City Centre for easy access.
