Role Title: Autoclave Field Engineer

Premier customer sites across the UK, with significant travel and overnight stays
Package:
Over £50,000 OTE including profit share and overtime. Company vehicle, training, pension, laptop, phone, and social events.
Role Overview:
Join our expanding team to provide essential services in industries such as Formula 1, aerospace, and defence. Your engineering expertise will help optimize autoclave production through service, calibration, fault-finding, breakdown response, upgrades, and installation of new and refurbished units. Our services support critical events like race weekends in F1.
About You:
* Strong electrical engineering foundation
* Knowledge/experience with PLCs/HMIs (desirable)
* Experience with pneumatics, vacuum, hydraulics (desirable)
* Detail-oriented and pride in your work
* Independent yet team-oriented
Main Responsibilities:
* Planned maintenance and calibration of autoclaves and ovens on site
* Upgrades and installations of autoclave systems (mechanical and electrical)
* Breakdown response visits
* Detailed reporting of work performed
* Customer liaison, explaining recommendations and performance
* Coordination with Projects Director and office staff to ensure proper delivery
* Surveying for upgrades and system improvements during site visits
* Identifying opportunities for system enhancements
* Collaborating with the team to improve work processes
* Assisting with mechanical and electrical assemblies in the workshop
