The Role
* Lead day-to-day purchasing activity, managing suppliers and securing best value across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and fabricated components.
* Oversee stock control and replenishment to maintain optimal inventory levels and prevent production delays.
* Analyse purchasing, supplier and inventory data to drive improvements and reduce supply chain risk.
The Person
* 3–5 years’ experience in procurement / buying (minimum 3 years in a buying role), ideally within engineering or manufacturing.
* Strong systems capability, confident using ERP platforms and interpreting procurement and production data.
* Commercially astute, detail-focused and comfortable working cross-functionally with engineering, planning and production teams.
