Role Profile
Wincanton is seeking a Class 2 Driver with a passion for customer service to join our team in Portbury, delivering kitchen and bathroom flatpack products for our Wickes contract.
* £17.54 per hour
* £41,053.70 per annum
* 45 hours per week
* Tuesday to Saturday, starting between 0500 and 0700
* Overtime paid at £17.54 per hour
Responsibilities include:
* Delivering products to customer homes as part of a two-person crew
* Maintaining safety and professionalism in vehicle operation
* Conducting vehicle checks and reporting defects
* Reporting delivery issues promptly
* Completing debriefs upon return to the site
* Self-managing and problem-solving on the job
* Adhering to health and safety regulations and reporting incidents
Requirements:
* Valid in-date Class 2 licence
* Digital Tachograph Card
* Driver CPC qualification
* Minimum 6 months Class 2 driving experience
* Customer-facing experience is a plus
* Positive, flexible attitude and good time management
* DBS check required
This role involves physical work and manual handling, so physical fitness is essential.
