Senior Authorised Person – BESS Project – North Scotland (Island Based) - 4 Month contract - August Start
I’m working with a client delivering a BESS project up in North Scotland, who will be responsible for energisation, commissioning, and bringing the site online.
The role:
* Acting as SAP through energisation, cold & hot commissioning
* Managing permits, switching, and safety
* Working across 33kV infrastructure (SFTS)
* Coordinating with SSEN / SHEPD networks (cross-boundary work)
* Overseeing BESS integration & witness testing
Requirements:
* Proven SAP experience within DNO environments or private networks
* Experience on BESS or power station projects
* Comfortable managing energisation end to end
Contract details:
* August start
* 4 months
* Day rate, outside IR35
* Monday to Friday, 10–12 hour days
* Island based in North Scotland
