Retail store assistant (with keyholder responsibility)
£12.21 per hour plus benefits

Hours: Part time 13.5 hours (including Sundays)
Location: Edinburgh, Morningside Shop

We’re seeking a motivated retail assistant to join our trading team, acting as an ambassador for Cancer Research UK and taking responsibility for the shop on Sundays.
You’ll be surrounded by dedicated people committed to beating cancer.
What will I be doing?
* Overseeing the shop operations on Sundays, including keyholder responsibilities (training provided) and supporting volunteers.
* Helping the shop team achieve sales and fundraising targets.
* Reviewing and processing donated goods and new stock.
* Generating creative ideas to increase income, with guidance from the Shop Manager.
* Using customer service skills to ensure supporters and customers feel welcome and valued.
* Maintaining shop standards related to safeguarding, compliance, and health & safety.
* Performing manual handling and physical activities as part of daily duties.
