We are seeking an inspiring Team Manager to lead our Early Intervention in Psychosis (EIP) service for the London Borough of Hounslow. Based at the Heart of Hounslow Health Centre (HoH) and delivering care across the borough, our team operates in community clinics and homes, ensuring timely, life-changing support for individuals and families.
EIP focuses on early, proactive intervention: helping people experiencing a first episode of psychosis to recover, rebuild their lives, and achieve their aspirations. You will lead a skilled multidisciplinary team (MDT) including a Team Lead, Band 6 clinicians, and specialist practitioners, delivering evidence-based interventions that meet national standards such as NCAP and the Access & Waiting Time targets. If you have drive, leadership, and a vision for exceptional care and innovation, we would love to hear from you.
Main Duties / Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the development, business planning, and clinical governance of Hounslow’s standalone EIP service, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and community needs.
2. Oversee financial and workforce management, including budget planning, recruitment, retention, appraisals, and performance monitoring to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
3. Champion quality improvement by tracking and acting on EIP-specific KPIs (e.g., NCAP, Access & Waiting Times), using data to inform service development and improve outcomes.
4. Ensure compliance with Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards and manage Serious Untoward Incidents, complaints, audits, and governance processes.
5. Build and maintain strong partnerships with GPs, commissioners, local authority services, third-sector organizations, and other mental health teams to create integrated care pathways.
