Job Role
As the Team Leader, you will support the department where required looking to improve efficiency and ensure an effective operation is established and maintained.
Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities
* Picking and packing customer’s orders to high standard
* Loading and unloading
* Ensuring productivity levels are high and targets are achieved
* Liaising with customers via email, Teams and phone
* Leading and supervising the team to achieve operational plan
* Training and developing warehouse colleagues
* Data entry into Warehouse Management System
* Leading and delegating within a team
Is this the role for you?
To be successful in this role you will have some of the following skills and experience and the desire to develop in other areas:
* Previous experience within a fast-paced warehouse environment and a good understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and processes.
* An organised and methodical approach to work.
* Able to create and follow warehouse processes and procedures.
* Attention to detail, able to complete repetitive tasks to a high standard.
* Strong organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail.
* Able to work to tight deadlines and within a fast paced and high-pressure environment.
* Able to maintain an awareness of their working environment and work to Health and Safety standards.
* Experience with a recognised WMS (Manhattan, Infor, SAP) would be desirable.
