Your new role
You will be part of a large team of HR professionals and work as a specialist HR Advisor focussing on low volume but complex employee relation cases. Your day-to-day duties will include:
* Advise, guide, and coach managers to help deliver the vision and mission of the organisation.
* Provide expert advice and support on employee relations (ER) cases from start to finish.
* Coach managers on best practices in: contractual matters, effective communication, team motivation and development
* Support the development and continuous improvement of people procedures
* Manage a portfolio of projects and initiatives to: provide tools, data, and guidance and improve the employee experience
* Ensure all interactions with employees are fair, process-aligned, and legally compliant.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Previous in-depth knowledge of employee relations and possess a real passion for working on complex cases through to resolution.
2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to listen and simplify complex information.
