TSA Quality Control has recently been instructed to provide professional consultancy services to a Technical Advisor engaged in a Department for Education (DfE) School Replacement project. As part of this support, we are actively seeking a Build Clerk of Works. The project involves the full replacement of a school facility and is being delivered over an 80-week programme. Site visits are required weekly, with an additional 6 visits during the testing, commissioning and snagging stages totalling 86 visits. Following each visit, you will be required to provide a Clerk of Works report using a standard template, including photographic documentation. All reports must be submitted within 48 hours of each inspection. The ideal Clerk of Works is likely to be from a construction practical background with a technical build qualification, with extensive experience carrying out the duties of a Clerk of Works. This experience should preferably be within educational or public sector environments. It would be beneficial if you are a member of MICWCI, MCIOB, or MCABE.
