Job Description
A well-established business is looking for an International Logistics Coordinator who enjoys managing overseas shipments, preparing export/import documentation, and ensuring everything leaves and arrives exactly as it should legally, safe and on time.
This is a full-time role, based in the office 5 days per week. The office is based in a very rural location, so your own transport is essential.
What youll be doing as International Logistics Coordinator:
* Organising overseas and UK shipments, including exports, returns, and temporary dispatches
* Creating and checking export/import documents (e.g. commercial invoices, declarations, certificates)
* Ensuring processes follow international trade and customs requirements
* Selecting suitable carriers and shipping options based on timescales and cost considerations
* Liaising with freight partners, internal teams and customers to ensure delivery expectations are met
* Tracking shipments and providing updates and confirmations to relevant stakeholders
* Assisting with maintaining logistics records and updating customer/order data when required
* Helping to maintain an organised, efficient logistics area
* Working in line with company health & safety procedures
