About the Role of Clinical Negligence Solicitor / Legal Executive
Infinitek is proud to be working in partnership with a leading law firm that has built an excellent reputation for providing high-quality legal services across Yorkshire. Due to continued organic growth, the firm is now seeking a Clinical Negligence Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its specialist team in Leeds City Centre.
You will manage your own caseload of multi-track claimant clinical negligence matters, with caseload size dictated by complexity rather than volume. In addition, you will provide support to colleagues as required and benefit from secretarial and paralegal assistance. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of cases-from high-value, complex claims to more straightforward matters, at a firm known for its selective approach and high client care standards.
What Youll Be Doing as Clinical Negligence Solicitor / Legal Executive
Running your own caseload of multi-track clinical negligence cases.
Handling matters from initial instruction through to resolution, including advocacy where appropriate.
Taking detailed instructions, advising clients clearly and sensitively, and managing expectations.
Instructing counsel and medical experts as required.
Drafting, preparing, and reviewing key legal documentation.
Keeping up-to-date with legal developments and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Supporting business development and contributing to the continued success of the team.
What Were Looking For
A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 26 years PQE.
Demonstrable experience handling claimant clinical negligence cases.
Strong technical ability combined with excellent attention to detail.
Excellent client care skills with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and empathetically.
Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Ability to manage your own caseload independently while contributing as part of a team.
Knowledge & Skills
Confident in drafting, presenting, and advocating cases both orally and in writing.
Skilled in managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
Proficient IT skills including Windows, Word, MS Teams, and Excel.
Familiarity with the Solicitors Code of Conduct.
APIL Litigator / Senior Litigator accreditation is desirable (commensurate with experience).
