The main responsibilities of this role include welcoming patients and visitors to the department, scheduling therapy appointments, and managing phone calls and messages for the department. The postholder will also perform routine administrative tasks such as filing documents, photocopying and scanning. This position operates under the supervision of a Therapy Admin Lead.
Be the first point of contact for patients attending the service, greeting them promptly and ensuring they feel welcome. Process patient arrivals and book follow‑up appointments and complete outcomes using the OASIS system, as guided by qualified staff. Respond face to face and telephone enquiries from patients, the public and other staff members, providing basic information as needed.
