We’re working with a cutting-edge contract catering business that refuses to play it safe. Known for delivering exceptional, restaurant-quality food in a corporate environment, they’re now looking for a Development Chef to join forces with the Chef Director and drive the next wave of innovation.
The Role
You’ll be at the forefront of food innovation—taking inspiration from fine dining and translating it into exciting, commercially smart concepts across multiple sites.
1. Lead the creation of bold, restaurant-level menus across staff dining, retail, hospitality, and events
2. Work side-by-side with the Chef Director to shape and evolve food strategy
3. Drive tastings, food development sessions, and new concept launches
4. Play a key role in new openings—bringing vision, energy, and precision
5. Influence and inspire kitchen teams to deliver exceptional standards
6. Stay ahead of trends and inject fresh, relevant ideas into every offer
What You Bring
7. A strong fine dining background—you understand flavour, technique, and presentation at a high level
8. Experience in contract catering or multi-site operations (or ready to step into it)
9. A naturally creative mindset with the confidence to challenge the norm
10. Energy, pace, and a genuine passion for innovation
11. The ability to balance creativity with commercial thinking
12. High standards, sharp organisation, and real attention to detail
