The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for a part-time role on behalf of an Energy & Development company in Leighton Buzzard.
The Role
To provide support to the accounts department and be an integral member of a busy team. You will be required to maintain up-to-date purchase and sales ledgers, reconcile client accounts, and be proactive, trustworthy, and honest.
Key Responsibilities:
* Creation of sales invoices
* Entry of sales and purchase invoices into Sage Line 50
* Coordination of invoice approvals
* Maintenance of paper and scanned invoice files, including HMRC documentation
* Bank reconciliations
* Bank payments in line with mandates
* Management of expenses
* Checking VAT classifications
* Proactive management of debtors and creditors

* Confident telephone manner
* Methodical, organized, and accurate with the ability to meet strict deadlines
* IT literate with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
Salary and Benefits
The salary for the Accounts Assistant role is up to £30,000, depending on experience and skills. This is a part-time office role with hours of 8 hours per day for 3 days, or 6 hours per day for 4 days, specifically on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Benefits include BUPA healthcare, performance bonus, and 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays.
