We're currently recrutiing on behalf of our well-established client, they are a family-run manufacturing business looking to recruit a CNC Programmer/Operator to join their friendly and close-knit team on a temporary, on going basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced CNC professional looking to contribute to a business that values quality, teamwork, and craftsmanship.
The Role
As the company's sole CNC Programmer, you'll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the production facility, with full support from management, external partners, and access to training as required.
You'll be working closely with a sister company operating from the same premises, becoming part of a collaborative and supportive working environment.
Your main responsibilities will include:
* Programming and operating CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality precision components
* Working primarily within the agricultural manufacturing sector
* Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
* Ensuring all work meets exacting quality standards
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone who can bring a strong blend of technical ability and a positive, proactive attitude. To succeed in this role, you should have:
* Proven experience as a CNC Programmer/Operator
* Proficiency in programming using CAM or equivalent software
* Experience working with Fanuc controls (experience with Doosan CNCs is advantageous)
* A solid mechanical mindset and problem-solving approach
* The ability to read and execute engineering drawings
* A motivated and positive attitude with a genuine desire to succeed
