Senior Site Agent Location: London, Hampton, Middlesex (site-based with travel required) Galliford Try is looking for a Senior Site Agent to join our Thames team. This is your chance to take full responsibility for managing complex works packages, ensuring delivery meets client and company expectations. What you’ll be doing: * Take ownership of day-to-day management of allocated works, supervising site teams and supply chain partners. * Plan, control, and monitor progress, coordinating multiple sections of the project. * Manage work packages alongside the commercial team, taking full ownership of costs for your section. * Capture and manage changes in scope across operations, commercial, programme, or design. * Understand temporary works requirements and implement value engineering solutions. * Attend client and stakeholder meetings, building strong relationships. * Report progress and performance to the Project Manager and assist with cost forecasting and valuations. * Lead weekly and monthly site meetings and ensure teams work to the latest design information. * Undertake material take-offs, order materials, and reconcile usage. * Carry out regular Health & Safety checks and CDM audits, ensuring compliance with RAMS and Permit to Work systems. * Resolve unexpected technical issues and maintain strict quality control procedures. * Keep site diaries up to date and lead direct reports effectively, including annual PDRs. * Monitor capability of staff and contractors for current and future workloads. * Identify and assist in introducing new processes, techniques, and innovations on site. What we’re looking for: * HNC or higher in a relevant discipline. * SMSTS and relevant CSCS card. * Proficient in Office 365. * Significant civil engineering experience. * Ability to manage multiple or large packages of work. * Skilled in reading and interpreting data, drawings, specifications, and schedules. * Highly organised with strong prioritisation skills. * Adept at interfacing with site teams, subcontractors, designers, and clients. * Strong knowledge of CDM 2015 and NEC contracts. * Proven leadership, delegation, and advanced problem-solving skills. Desirable: * CAD experience. * Temporary Works Coordinator. * First Aid certification. Why join us?
