We are looking for an experienced Optical Associate to join our team.
The ideal candidate will possess the ability to listen and comprehend both written and spoken English, and will be comfortable dealing with customers on an individual basis.
This is a customer facing role which encompasses a wide range of duties within the store.
This includes:
* greeting patients
* checking their personal information on arrival
* explaining and performing the pre-assessment procedure and tests
* booking appointments
* calling to confirm appointments
* taking incoming calls
* hand-overs and frame selection
* explaining our in store offers and promotions.
* performing collections and repairs
* single vision dispensing
* multifocal dispensing (candidates with single vision experience should apply)
Further training will be given as this role will require a wide range of knowledge specific to Specsavers Opticians and our branch.
Full time salary £22,500 - £25,000 depending on experience. Full time is 37.5 hours / week including weekend working. Part time will be considered.
