The school ismitted to providing high‑quality, inclusive education for pupils with a range of additional needs. The team is experienced, collaborative, and dedicated to ensuring every child receives the personalised support they need to thrive.
Your new role
You will be working full time as the SEND Teacher within the school’s resource base, delivering tailored teaching and learning to pupils with a variety of SEND needs. You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons, create structured routines, and work closely with support staff to ensure each child receives targeted, meaningful support. You will also contribute to EHCP targets, maintain strongmunication with parents, and work collaboratively with the wider SEND team.
This is a 5 day a week, starting ASAP, paid to scale (M1-M6).
What you'll need to succeed
1. Proven experience teaching within a SEND resource base or specialist provision
2. Strong understanding of SEND strategies, differentiation, and personalised learning
3. Confident behaviour management and a nurturing, patient approach
4. Ability to work effectively with support staff, external professionals, and families
5. Flexibility, resilience, and a passion for supporting children with additional needs
