The Role
This high-impact sales position is ideal for someone with proven success in the food industry, working directly with retail and hospitality buyers.
Key responsibilities will be to:
* Drive sales & profitability through strategic planning, securing new business and growing existing accounts.
* Analyse market trends, identify customer needs, and deliver smart solutions.
* Lead outreach, networking, and relationship-building with key industry contacts.
* Manage the full sales process from prospecting to negotiation and onboarding.
* Work closely with Technical & NPD teams to bring the best of products to the market.
* Attend industry events, summits, and roadshows to promote the brands and products
* Forecast weekly, monthly and annual revenue.
This role involves some travel and offers flexible, hybrid or home working options.
The Ideal Candidate
* Sales or account management experience within the food industry
* Proven success working with retail or hospitality buyers
* Strong negotiation & strategic selling skills
* A confident communicator who can represent two leading Scottish brands
* Ability to collaborate across internal teams & report to Head of Commercial
