Levenside Medical Practice, based within Dumbarton Health Centre, is a friendly and dynamic training practice providing high quality care to more than 8,500 patients. We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable Receptionist to join our large multidisciplinary team. This is a 22.5 hour per week post, worked Monday to Friday. The successful candidate must be available between 8.00am and 6.00pm, with flexibility required to support cover for annual leave and sickness absence. We are looking for a strong team player with excellent communication skills, who is empathetic, calm, approachable and able to remain composed under pressure in a busy and sometimes unpredictable environment, while maintaining patient confidentiality at all times. Experience in a busy customer facing role is essential. Experience in healthcare setting would be advantageous but is not required, as full training will be provided for the right candidate. Our current clinical system is EMIS PCS, and we will be transitioning to Vision over the summer. We therefore require someone with strong IT skills who can adapt quickly in a fast paced environment.
