Job description
Our client is currently recruiting an Account Manager to join their Projects team on a permanent, full-time basis in Dyce.
Purpose
To manage and maintain associated accounts, both current and targeted through new business development methods. The Account manager is responsible for the commercial targets and budgets of their accounts, ensuring quotations are submitted in a timely manor and feedback and customer relationships are prioritised with a view of maximizing results. You will have a focused approach to customer engagement, driving and securing opportunities in line with the company’s growth strategy.
Duties
* Quoting within client deadlines and with consideration of project specifications
* Requesting feedback of outstanding bids
* Building and maintaining client and supplier relationships internally through regular calls and externally through client visits
* Understanding and working towards the budget and growth plans for associated accounts
* Working in line with company growth plans and strategy, maximizing and supporting on all areas of improvement and opportunity
* Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures Overview of the role
Requirements
* Strong commercial awareness, a desire to build and grow accounts and business in line and above company expectations
* Technical awareness of specifications and materials
* The ability to work well under pressure and to tight deadlines, while maintaining a positive and can-do attitude
* Ability to work well independently and within the parameters of any instructions and requirements
* Excellent computer proficiency and presentation skills
* An understanding of the Aberdeen Energy sector
