Your Day-to-Day Impact
As an SEN Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in shaping meaningful learning experiences. Your responsibilities will include:
Designing and delivering imaginative, personalised lessons to meet the individual needs of children with SEN. Using specialist approaches and tailored resources to boost engagement, independence, and confidence. Assessing learning needs and adapting teaching strategies to ensure every child can access the curriculum. Working closely with teachers, parents, and external professionals to build a strong circle of support around each student. Creating a warm, nurturing, and inclusive classroom where children feel safe and excited to learn. Maintaining thorough records to celebrate achievements and monitor progress effectively.
What You Bring
We’re looking for someone who embodies passion, patience, and professionalism — along with:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Experience working with children with SEN A strong grasp of the national curriculum and SEN adaptations Excellent communication and relationship-building skills A creative, empathetic approach and a genuine commitment to supporting every child’s wellbeing and learning
