IKEA Birmingham is looking to hire Warehouse Assistants to join our dedicated fulfilment team.
As a Warehouse Assistant, your responsibilities will include scanning, picking, and distributing customer orders at the collection point.
What We Offer
* Start date: 28th June 2025
* Competitive hourly rate of £12.60 plus an additional £2.25 per hour for night shifts (between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM)
* Part-time contracts of 12, 16, or 20 hours per week, working 2 to 5 days, including weekends. All part-time staff will have every 4th weekend off. Shifts are between 4:00 AM and 10:30 PM.

Requirements
* Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential; motivation to succeed in a fast-paced environment is key
* Ability to prioritize and organize tasks efficiently with attention to detail
* Experience with technical equipment to improve productivity
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Applicants must be 18 or older to comply with health and safety regulations
Daily Tasks
* Checking, scanning, and distributing customer click-and-collect orders
* Manual handling of heavy stock
* Operating heavy machinery such as forklifts and pump trucks safely
* Following all safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for customers and staff
