Seasonal Handy Person. Warwick Hourly Rate : £13 (plus holiday pay, circa £14.56 per hour in total) Working Hours : 9am – 6pm. 25 hours per week Contract Duration : This is a short-term, seasonal contract during the summer months. Vita Student's next-level apartment design offers a variety of studios to suit our students lives with the privacy of living alone or the laughter of living together. We offer style, luxury & comfort to our residents, surrounded by premium amenities and a vibrant city life. Our Seasonal Handy Person Plays a critical role during the summer months, restoring, improving and maintaining our buildings to pristine conditions ahead of our next intake of Students from September onwards. Painting & decorating. Respond to maintenance requests, promptly addressing reports of issues with plumbing, electrical, heating/cooling, lighting, furniture, and other equipment. Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) Conduct regular inspections of residence facilities to identify potential issues and performing scheduled maintenance tasks General repairs, such as fixing minor issues like leaky plumbing, broken fixtures, damaged doors, and wall repairs. Performing minor tasks like replacing flooring, repairing furniture, and touch-up painting & decorating. Ground works, maintaining the upkeep of outdoor areas such as grass-cutting & hedge-trimming/shaping. Safety compliance. Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures when performing maintenance tasks. Who we want to join our team Professional Experience Skilled across a variety of maintenance functions including painting & decorating Well-versed in delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) within a similar environment. Demonstrable understanding and adherence of safety compliance regulations and procedures.
