Overview
Based at our head office in Purbeck, the role of Sales specialist will have responsibility for the Sales support function. Working directly with the leaders of the business you will be responsible for managing the internal sales team. You will take a lead role in delivering the companies overall strategy for sales and help us to achieve our wider customer experience goals.
Working as part of the management team, the person in this role will lead the Company’s Sales team to provide strategic direction, operational and process control of the client facing activities within the Company.
This role has the core driver of ensuring the consistent and focused sales performance within the department.
Create and Implement strategies to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and managing and/or maintaining relationships with new and existing clients.
The Senior Sales Manager will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on sales metrics throughout the business, reporting directly to The Directors. They will be responsible for the Sales team and will need to occasionally collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of products.
Responsibilities
* Managing, motivating and targeting the Sales team through regular, appropriate and open communication
* Creating a yearly strategy to be presented to The Directors
* Monitoring the accurate and appropriate completion of sales activities
* Leading from the front - motivating, organising and encouraging the sales team to ensure strategic objectives are met
* Ensuring sales staff performances and progress through appraisals alongside the HR Manager
* Recruiting when required alongside the HR Manager
* Training of the Sales team

* Experience of leading a high performing team

* Comfortable preparing reports and presenting detailed analysis to Directors

* Proven experience in Sales and Sales Management, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
* Ability to provide Training and product knowledge to customers and team members
* Strong organizational abilities, time management skills, and attention to detail
* Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently in an on-site environment
* Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is a plus
* Valid driving license and access to reliable transport is advantageous
