TARCG Aviation are currently looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Technician to work with our client based in Staffordshire. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a variety of aircraft in an aviation environment and benefit from benefit from continuous improvement and personal development.
Responsibilities:
* Carry out scheduled maintenance in accordance with approved maintenance data.
* Perform general servicing to high engineering standards.
* Diagnose and rectify aircraft defects quickly and safely.
* Keep accurate maintenance records in line with regulatory requirements.
* Work with a variety of light aircraft, ensuring safety, airworthiness, and reliability.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement in maintenance procedures, documentation, tooling, and workflow.
* Contribute ideas to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime, and improve safety standards.
* Support occasional wider airfield duties such as aircraft refuelling and fire cover (training provided).
* Be flexible to cover occasional unsociable hours when operational needs arise.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in general aviation aircraft maintenance (not airline or military).
* Good working knowledge of light aircraft systems and servicing requirements.
* Ability to interpret maintenance manuals and technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail with a commitment to doing the job right first time.
* Flexible, can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in.
