About the Role
We’re seeking a Senior Content Marketing Manager to significantly impact our fast-growing SaaS company. This strategic position within the Marketing Team involves elevating our content function, which currently drives all new business leads through inbound marketing.
The ideal candidate will develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy to foster organic growth, demand generation, and establish BrightLocal as a leader in local SEO. Experience in SEO-driven content, multimedia formats, and leveraging AI for content scaling is essential.
Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy and Execution: Develop a full-funnel content strategy, align it with brand and marketing channels, and stay updated on SEO and AI trends.
2. Lifecycle Content Marketing: Create targeted content for different customer journey stages, including thought leadership and educational materials.
3. Content Creation and Distribution: Oversee content production, develop themes, expand into new formats, and coordinate multi-channel distribution.
4. Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and lead a team of three content marketers, fostering a creative and data-driven culture.
5. Analytics and Optimization: Track KPIs, use analytics tools to refine content strategies, and report on impact.
Candidate Profile
* 7+ years in content marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS.
* Proven expertise in SEO, thought leadership, and demand generation.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing integration, including paid media and personalization.
* Experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
* Knowledge of AI tools, multimedia content, and analytics platforms.
* Exceptional storytelling and analytical skills.
