We are seeking a dynamic nursing leader to provide strategic, professional, and operational leadership for our Gynaecology and IVF services.
This leadership role spans two hospital sites and offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the delivery of high-quality, safe, and family-centred care for some of our most vulnerable patients.
This role requires an individual who can demonstrate leadership and excellent communication skills and who can provide evidence of collaborative team working in the environment of a fast moving NHS that has had to adapt and embrace change to meet the needs of patients and staff.
What we are looking for:
1. A dynamic individual who wants to lead a great team of staff to provide excellent, forward thinking nursing care.
2. Registered Nurse with extensive leadership experience and a track record of success in managing teams service transformation, managing complex operational priorities cross multiple services, people management experience and incident management experience.
3. Excellent communication and influencing skills across clinical and managerial teams.
4. A compassionate leader who champions safety, inclusion, and service excellence.
5. On the floor visibility is key and as this role covers several sites the individual concerned must be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the service and have the experience of working in a complex organisation with several competing pressures.

Main duties of the job
6. Provide a highly visible nursing presence across both sites.
7. Supporting business planning process for the Directorate supporting both the financial, operational and Quality & Safety imperatives and specifically to support the Directorate Governance lead in ensuring Quality & Safety is at the forefront of all we deliver on a day to day basis.
8. Ensure the delivery of responsive, compassionate, and high-standard care, in line with national and Trust priorities.
9. Lead service development, quality improvement, and workforce planning.
10. Promote staff engagement, retention, and professional development.
11. Maintain oversight of budgetary management, service efficiency, and clinical governance.
12. Collaborate with the senior triumvirate team to implement strategic initiatives and Trust-wide Nursing strategies.
