Adult Domestic Abuse Support Worker
Location: King’s Lynn with travel across West Norfolk
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday (Part time/flexible working considered)
Salary: £26,000–£28,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Are you passionate about empowering women affected by domestic abuse and helping them rebuild their lives with safety, dignity and confidence? We are recruiting on behalf of a specialist domestic abuse service that provides vital support to women and children across West Norfolk.
This is a meaningful and rewarding role where you will provide trauma informed, strengths based support to women aged 16 and over, offering both emotional and practical assistance as part of a dedicated outreach and refuge team.
About the Role
As an Adult Domestic Abuse Support Worker, you will:
1. Provide one to one support using tailored support plans and risk assessments to promote safety and wellbeing.
2. Work collaboratively with clients to help them manage risk, build resilience and take positive steps forward.
3. Offer emotional support and practical guidance, ensuring each client feels heard, respected and empowered.
4. Manage referrals, undertake risk assessments and contribute to safeguarding processes.
