The School of Sport, Rehabilitation and Exercise Sciences (SRES) is recruiting a part-time, fixed-term lecturer in Sport Psychology to join our diverse community of scholars to contribute to our undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes.
SRES is a vibrant and dynamic school that provides an opportunity to work collaboratively across the sciences of exercise, performance, health and rehabilitation. We have a growing portfolio of taught programmes including the British Psychological Society’s accredited undergraduate degree (co-taught with the Department of Psychology and providing students eligibility for Graduate Basis for Chartership) and a Masters (Stage 1 qualification) in Sport and Exercise Psychology.
Duties of the Role
You will contribute to excellence in education by delivering teaching and providing learning support on our BSc and MSc programmes. The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to providing an engaging, innovative curriculum that meets the modern needs of our diverse student body in a campus-based environment.
Qualifications and Skills required
You will have (or be close to completion of) a relevant doctoral level degree in Sport and Exercise Psychology. You will also have experience of working independently in teaching at undergraduate and/or postgraduate levels, or demonstrable potential to engage in teaching and learning support in engaging and innovative ways.
