Electrical Commissioning Manager – Data Centre Project We are currently seeking a skilled Electrical Commissioning Manager to join a high-profile data centre and film studio development. The project is well underway and entering the final stages of its current phase. We’re looking for someone who can help drive the project through completion and continue delivering excellence through the upcoming phases. About the Project Section 3 of the project involves the construction of the Energy Centre, Ancillary Building, Data Centre, and Substation, supporting a total load of 16.8MW. The site includes data halls and a range of secure rooms. * As Principal Contractor, we are managing the overall delivery of the Data Centre build, including M&E installation and backup generator systems. * H&MV is constructing the main substation and running the primary power cable to the site on behalf of Ark. * BladeRoom is responsible for constructing the data hall structure. Your Role As the Electrical Commissioning Manager, you will play a pivotal role in coordinating on-site activities, managing stakeholder communications, and delivering clear, timely progress updates—including visual reporting. You will oversee the commissioning process to ensure compliance with technical and performance standards. Key Responsibilities: * Managing and validating the commissioning process to ensure outcomes align with project requirements. * Inspecting and analyzing existing systems for performance optimization. * Advising on commissioning requirements, strategies, scopes, and performance benchmarks. * Conducting surveys, measurements, and other technical assessments. * Collaborating closely with contractors, consultants, and project managers throughout delivery. What We’re Looking For * Proven experience in critical infrastructure projects, especially within data centres. * A minimum NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification. * ECS Gold Card, SSSTS, and First Aid certifications are advantageous. Day rate is £500 a day, through Ltd – Outside of IR35
