We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join the St Ives Community Rehabilitation Service based at Kings Hall, St Ives, Cambridgeshire PE27 4WY.
This role is based in the community covering St Ives and the surrounding area. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary therapy team providing high-quality rehabilitation to patients with physical disabilities in their home environment.
Please note: For this role, you will be required to travel independently around the county, meeting strict time deadlines. You need to hold a full UK driving licence* and have use of a vehicle. Public transport cannot be used for this role as it is unreliable and will not meet service needs. Please confirm in your application that you meet these criteria.
* We are seeking a self-motivated individual able to work autonomously within the Integrated Multi-Professional Community Rehabilitation Team, providing high standards of care.
* Your responsibilities will include assessing, planning, and developing specialist occupational therapy programmes for patients with diverse complex needs.
* You will manage your own caseload, prioritise referrals based on clinical need, signpost appropriately, and assess patients with complex and multiple pathologies using advanced clinical reasoning skills.
* The role also involves supervising junior staff and students, overseeing patient interventions, and ensuring Therapy Assistants deliver quality care.
