Job Title: Senior Editor, Abercrombie & Kent Location: London, England Company: AKTG Overview We are seeking an experienced writer and skilled editor with a passion for luxury travel to join the Abercrombie & Kent Brand team in London. As Senior Editor you will be the keeper of the brand tone of voice and responsible for ensuring its implementation across all platforms – website, email, brochures, DMs, campaigns and social. You will also help deliver exceptional content that aligns with the wider business Digital, Marketing and Sales strategy and helps grow organic traffic. Key Skills Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling ability Excellent knowledge of the travel industry with a proven ability to produce intelligent, authoritative, and original travel writing Deep understanding of and love for travel Strong editorial judgement Commercially minded – able to balance the needs of the business with the brand Ability to move fluently between brand, campaign, long-form and short-form copy Able to connect brand strategy to language and narrative in a practical way Confident senior presence with the ability to challenge and influence at all levels Skilled at bringing stakeholders with them rather than simply enforcing rules Calm, authoritative decision-maker Strong collaborator Clear communicator Comfortable representing the editorial point of view in wider business forums High standards and attention to detail without being dogmatic Strong sense of what feels contemporary, human and credible Core Responsibilities Your key responsibilities will include but may not be limited to: Writing and commissioning travel content for the A&K brand, website and publications Commissioning stories Generating content ideas for marketing and advertising campaigns Proofreading and editing copy and content where necessary Contributing content ideas for all touchpoints Being the guardian of Abercrombie & Kent’s copy tone and style, ensuring consistency across all platforms Collaborating with product, sales, digital and marketing teams to transform strategy into engaging and authoritative travel content, positioning us as a leading luxury travel brand Potential line management of junior editorial team members, including coaching, mentoring, and supporting their development. Preferred Experience At least 10 years' editorial experience in travel and or lifestyle content Educated to a high level in journalism, English, or a related writing field is desirable but not essential.
