Ecologist Location: Telford, Shropshire Contract: Permanent, Full Time (37 hours per week) Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 DOE (Career Grade) About the Role We are seeking an experienced Ecologist to join a well-established environmental consultancy based in Shropshire. The role will involve ecological assessments, Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) work, and protected species surveys across a diverse portfolio of projects. The successful candidate will be confident working independently, with a strong understanding of wildlife legislation, planning policy, field surveys and ecological report writing. This is a varied role offering excellent opportunities for career development and progression. While the position is full time, part-time applications will be considered for the right candidate.
