Role Overview
We are looking for a Back of House Operations Manager to play an integral role at the heart of our operations, ensuring every flight's success.
A Typical Day May Involve
1. Managing the day-to-day operations of the easyJet operation at Gatwick Airport.
2. Escalating safety-critical events and operational performance trends to senior management and airline partners.
3. Supporting the Senior BOH Manager in managing the BOH team, including Ramp Colleagues, TCOs, and SOC.
4. Providing holiday cover and developing a succession line for shift management.
5. Ensuring operational activities meet customer requirements for OTP.
6. Maintaining compliance with internal and external regulatory bodies, including CAA requirements.
7. Monitoring IT tools such as AMS and Mobilise.
8. Managing resources in line with budgets and productivity targets.
9. Driving performance management and continuous improvement initiatives.
10. Engaging with unions and facilitating collaboration between management and colleagues.
11. Establishing effective communication with internal and external customers.
12. Reviewing and developing operational processes.
13. Managing KPIs to improve service levels and cost performance.
14. Supporting safety audits and corrective actions.
15. Minimizing delays caused by operational errors.
16. Overseeing contract budgets and overtime control.
17. Working with customers to maintain budgets.
18. Sharing knowledge and developing internal networks with finance teams.
19. Leading internal continuous improvement projects.
Candidate Profile
* Previous experience in aviation.
* Previous P&L accountability.
* Proficient in Excel and Power BI for data analysis.
* Ability to manage teams through on-shift managers.
* Valid UK driving license (essential).
* Willing to work shifts, including weekends and bank holidays.
* Confident in handling challenging situations.
* Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
* Willing to attend medical appointments.
