We are seeking to appoint a Criminal Justice Outreach Coach to join our ever-expanding Service. Working as part of a dynamic team of Criminal Justice Coaches, the successful candidate with be compassionate, enthusiastic and possess excellent engagement skills to support women and engage with them in a group or one to one basis and assist women to make a successful transition from custody to the community.

Due to the specific requirements of this role this post is exempt under the Equality Act 2010 and we can therefore only accept applications from female candidates.

Provide bespoke, tailored support to meet pathway needs including but not limited to:

Support the woman to access a range of services to meet their needs such as physical and mental health, housing, social care, financial support etc. Whilst also supporting them to understand their rights and options available to them.

Work with women to address traumas as part of a wider approach to support the women’s rehabilitation.

Be familiar with safeguarding legislation and processes, ensuring that any issues in relation to safeguarding are brought to the attention of the Project manager and appropriate action taken.

Work within a multi-agency framework with an understanding of the role of other partnerships and commitment to building strong multi-agency relationships.

Keep accurate records, updated within specified deadlines, keep the National Probation Service informed of participant’s attendance.

Undertake any other duties that may be seen to fall into the job responsibilities, and/or the exigencies of the organisation.

Present a professional image of Changing Lives at all times.
