CNC Setter Operator Shifts: Nights - Monday-Thursday 6pm -6am Location: Ty'n Llidiart Industrial Estate, LL21 Salary: Up to £39,372.32 per annumJoin a world-class components manufacturing site in Corwen, equipped with over £50 million worth of state-of-the-art machinery. We are seeking an experienced CNC Machine Centre Setter Operator to operate and set up automated dual turret CNC machining centres as part of the night shift in a high precision and high volume production process. Day-to-day of the role: Use, operate, and set up automated dual turret CNC machining centres. Follow Safe Systems of Work and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures & process control systems. Take pride in the quality of work and workplace. Conduct auditing and control of consumables. Read drawings and measure parts to drawing tolerances using Co-ordinate Measuring Machines & measuring instruments. Make adjustments and corrections based on measurement data. Set up and replace tooling as needed. Complete routine machine maintenance activities. Load and unload parts from input and output conveyors. Use supplemental equipment including engraving, flaw detection, and hydraulic pressing. Contribute to a culture of Continuous Improvement & Safe Working. Communicate effectively with colleagues on alternative shifts, conduct thorough handovers, and highlight issues to the site management team.Required Skills & Qualifications: Previous experience running and setting CNC Machinery. Good IT skills and quick to learn new skills on CNC Systems. Knowledge of Siemens CNC & G code programming would be an advantage. Ability to root cause & prevent reoccurrence of faults.
