We are seeking an experienced Composite Laminator to join a leading Formula One team on a fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of motorsport technology, contributing to the manufacture of high-performance composite components for race cars competing at the highest level.
Key Responsibilities
Lay-up and laminate composite components to exact specifications using pre-preg materials.
Work from engineering drawings and technical instructions to ensure precision and quality.
Trim, fit, and finish composite parts to meet stringent performance standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Collaborate with other team members to meet production deadlines and quality targets.
Conduct self-inspection and ensure compliance with quality control processes.
Skills & Experience Required
Proven experience in composite laminating within motorsport, aerospace, or similar high-performance industries.
Strong understanding of pre-preg lay-up techniques and vacuum bagging processes.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow detailed work instructions.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Flexible and adaptable to rotating shift patterns (earlies and lates).
Contract Details
Duration: Fixed term initially until April 2026
Shifts: Rotating early and late shifts
