A welcoming and nurturing primary school is seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting children through the crucial transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1.
The successful candidate will be passionate about early learning, with a strong understanding of phonics, continuous provision, and child-led learning. You will create an engaging and supportive classroom environment where every child feels confident to explore, develop, and succeed.

Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the KS1 curriculum
* Support pupils’ early reading, writing, and numeracy development
* Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment
* Work closely with colleagues and parents to support pupil progress
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have experience teaching in EYFS or KS1
* QTS (Essential)
* Full time availability
* Demonstrate strong phonics knowledge (e.g. Read Write Inc or similar)
* Be patient, enthusiastic, and committed to early years education
* Have a genuine passion for helping young learners thrive

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
