Annapurna is delighted to be supporting a long-established organisation within the electrotechnical sector in hiring a Head of Digital. This position plays a crucial role in shaping the digital direction of the business, ensuring systems, platforms and processes evolve to meet future needs while maintaining strong operational performance day‑to‑day.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the organisation’s digital agenda, translating strategic aims into a clear multi‑year delivery plan.
* Identify and implement improvements across digital services, operational workflows and user experiences.
* Take ownership of core digital ecosystems, including CRM and SQL‑based platforms, cloud infrastructure (Azure), and other essential operational systems.
* Drive the upgrade and modernisation of older technologies, ensuring architecture is resilient, scalable and integrated.
* Oversee the full lifecycle of digital projects—from initial discovery and requirements gathering to implementation, testing and optimisation.
* Manage external partners and suppliers, ensuring commercial effectiveness, robust security and strong performance outcomes.
* Enhance cybersecurity maturity, strengthen digital risk management, and maintain compliance with data governance and regulatory frameworks.
* Develop internal capability, coaching analytical team members and helping colleagues across the organisation use digital tools confidently and consistently.
* Promote continuous improvement, fostering a culture that embraces innovation and smarter ways of working.
About You
You bring both strategic insight and hands‑on delivery experience across cloud technologies, enterprise platforms, data governance and cybersecurity. You enjoy solving practical problems, guiding stakeholders through digital change and creating stable, efficient and modern digital environments. You are comfortable balancing long‑term planning with immediate operational needs.
